TableServe — QR ordering
for Indian restaurants.

TableServe by TheVincis is a QR ordering system for restaurants and cafés in India. Guests scan a QR code, browse a live menu on their phone and place orders that reach the kitchen instantly — no app download, no printed menus, fewer order errors and faster tables.

Built for tier-2 & tier-3 restaurants · Live in days, not months

How it works

How does QR code ordering work
in a restaurant?

QR code ordering replaces the printed menu and the order pad. Each table gets its own QR code; scanning it opens your live menu in the guest's phone browser, and confirmed orders appear in the kitchen in real time, tagged with the table number. Here is the full flow:

  1. Scan — the guest points their phone camera at the QR code on the table. The live menu opens in the browser; nothing to install.
  2. Browse — the menu shows photos, prices, veg/non-veg tags and today's specials, always up to date.
  3. Order — the guest builds a cart and confirms. The order lands on the kitchen screen instantly, tagged "Table 07".
  4. Serve — staff deliver food, not order-taking trips. Reorders happen from the same phone without flagging anyone down.
  5. Learn — every order feeds the owner dashboard: best-sellers, peak hours and table turnover, ready for tomorrow's decisions.

The comparison owners ask for

QR ordering vs a traditional POS system

A POS system records orders after staff take them; a QR ordering system removes the order-taking step entirely. For small and mid-size restaurants the practical differences are cost, hardware and speed to go live:

Hardware neededNone — guests' phones + any kitchen deviceTerminals, printers, cabling
Who takes the orderThe guest, directlyStaff, then re-entered
Order errorsNear zero — guest confirms their own cartRelay mistakes common at rush hour

Already have a POS? QR ordering runs alongside it — the kitchen screen simply becomes another order source.

Who builds it

Built by engineers,
not resellers.

TableServe is designed, built and supported in-house by TheVincis — the digital product studio founded by Sathyanarayana D, a Cybersecurity & IoT graduate certified by Microsoft and Infosys. It's one of three products the studio has taken from architecture to launch, built on the same principle as everything TheVincis ships: if it won't bring you customers, we won't build it.

Before you ask

QR ordering questions,
answered straight.

Do customers need to download an app to use QR ordering?

No. TableServe runs entirely in the phone's web browser. A guest scans the QR code on the table with their camera, the live menu opens instantly, and they order — no app store, no download, no sign-up.

Does QR ordering work for small cafés and tier-2 city restaurants?

Yes — that is exactly who it is built for. The system needs no special hardware: printed QR codes on tables, any smartphone or tablet in the kitchen, and an internet connection. Plans are sized for tier-2 and tier-3 restaurant margins, not enterprise budgets.

Can I update my menu and prices myself?

Yes. The menu is live: you can change prices, add daily specials, hide out-of-stock items and update photos from the owner dashboard at any time. Changes appear on every table's menu instantly — no reprinting, no waiting.

What do I need to get started with TableServe?

Three things: your menu (a photo or file is enough), a device in the kitchen to receive orders (any smartphone or tablet works), and printed QR codes for your tables, which TheVincis provides. Most restaurants go live within days of the first call.

How much does TableServe cost?

Pricing is a simple monthly plan that depends on your number of tables and outlets, and it is deliberately sized for tier-2 and tier-3 restaurant margins. Book a free consultation below or email vincis.contact@gmail.com for an exact quote — you will have it within one working day.

What is a QR code menu and how does it work?

A QR code menu is a digital menu customers open by scanning a printed code with their phone camera — no app, no download. The menu lives online, so items and prices update instantly. With TableServe the same scan also takes the order and sends it straight to the kitchen.

How does QR ordering increase restaurant sales?

Three ways: tables turn faster because nobody waits for a waiter to take the order; order errors drop because guests type exactly what they want; and photos with one-tap add-ons raise the average order value. TableServe also logs every order, so you finally see which dishes actually sell.

Is TableServe a restaurant management system?

TableServe is the ordering and menu layer of restaurant management: live QR menu, table-side ordering, instant kitchen tickets and order analytics. It doesn't try to be your accounting or inventory system — it makes the front of house run itself, and pairs with whatever manages the back office.

Does TableServe replace my restaurant billing or POS software?

No — and it doesn't need to. Your billing or POS software keeps printing invoices and tracking payments; TableServe handles what happens before that: menus, orders and the kitchen. Restaurants run both side by side from day one, and TheVincis can scope a custom integration if you want them talking.
